Although Umar Gul has been sensational for Pakistan through out his career but that night in England, he went bananas and won Pakistan the match single-handedly. That was his best performance in ODIs to date, but let us hope there is much more to come from him in the future as well.

RIM at a critical juncture!
Research in Motion (RIM), a renowned Canadian telecom designer, manufacturer and solution provider for worldwide mobile communications market and most importantly makers of BlackBerry, are fighting for their survival after a horrendous year RIM is at a verge of make or break situation.
One could say their survival depends upon QNX their next generation operating system for Playbook along with the success of BB OS 7 which runs their new line of blackberry devices. RIM’s future looks hazy to many their shares have faced a brutal downfall, at NASDAQ it’s down to around 15 from mid 60s since same time last year.
Many believe RIM might have to make a stone hearted decision to throw overboard its hardware production line and only concentrate on its specialized software solutions another blow for the investors was stepping down of RIM’s Co-CEO and founder of RIM, Mike Lazaridis. Blackberry has also constantly faced trouble from different governments and security agencies around the world who demand access to customer traffic but RIM denied such access to anyone as it contradicts with their beliefs on customer privacy.

Windows 8's new logo: 'Finally, it's a window..not a flag'
Microsoft is planning to make some huge changes with its Windows 8 operating system. The interesting thing is that it includes logo too. Pentagram, a renowned design agency, created the new design for Windows. Few remember the original Windows logo which was simple, refreshing and inspiring. In many ways, the Windows 8 logo resembles that of the original one.
Some people might say, "Why is Microsoft trying to go backwards?". Well, may be Paula Scher from Pentagram is the reason behind that. She asked a simple question, "Your name is Windows. Why are you a flag?
So, was it really Paula Scher who was the impetus behind Microsoft's decision? Well, not exactly! In some ways you can track the evolution of the Windows logo in respect to the advancements of the technology used to create logos. The incarnation of the "waving effect" was a move by Microsoft to give the logo a sense of motion. The new four-panned window you see above not only looks more like a window than its predecessors but also portrays company's new Metro design language. So, what does it foretells about the upcoming version of Windows? Only one thing, that it will be a treat to watch and use.
